PHILIPSBURG: - The Rotary E-Club of the Caribbean, District 7020 Butterfly Story writing contest has recently announced its winners, with much appreciation to our local young authors. The Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunset received 18 stories, with 3 being submitted to the Rotary E-Club for consideration to be published in this year’s Butterfly Storybook. The club congratulates DéSjaniah Lake for emerging as the overall winner.
“The Little Dreaming Caterpillar”, by Stella Palmer and “Catching Butterflies”, by Sahana Rinker both from the Montessori School, and “John the Mongoose”, by DéSjaniah Lake of the Methodist Agogic Centre JAG emerged as the three best stories from the 18 stories submitted to the Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunset and sent to the Rotary E-Club of the Caribbean.
